Pops Casey
Pops Casey is the true, self-taught Outsider Artist.
Casey’s creative journey began with a passion for black and white photography, where he developed his eye for composition and beauty. As a professional carpenter, he gained a deep understanding of wood’s strength, character, and limitations, while also cultivating a love for antiques and the craftsmanship of the past. Blending his artistic vision, woodworking expertise, and appreciation for history, Pops Casey developed his distinctive Tramp Art style of Folk Art. For over 25 years, he has created one-of-a-kind works inspired by American history, personal experiences, family, cultural traditions, and religious influences. His unique pieces have been showcased and sold through galleries, auctions, and art fairs across the United States, earning recognition for their craftsmanship, cultural significance, and celebration of American heritage. Many of his works incorporate a sense of utility, reflecting his belief in creating art that is both meaningful and functional.
Caitlyn Doran
Caitlyn Doran is a Chicago-based figurative painter and educator whose work explores the complexities of modern life through meticulous hand-rendered drawings and mixed-media paintings. Born in Illinois, Doran earned her BFA in Drawing from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2016, continued her studies in Japan through the Kanazawa College of Art’s master’s oil painting program, and completed her MFA at Columbia College Chicago in 2022. Her work examines the human experience, fragmented attention, and the intricacies of everyday life, blending technical precision with thoughtful storytelling. Doran has received numerous accolades, including the Albert P. Weisman Award and a Luminarts Fellowship, and her work has been exhibited throughout the Midwest and internationally. In addition to her studio practice, she is a dedicated teaching artist at Lillstreet Art Center in Chicago, where she shares her expertise through courses and private instruction.
K.F. Pryor
K.F. Pryor is a Chicago based painter known for acrylic and mixed media abstractions exploring composition as a powerful language in itself. With roots in studio art and interior design, her process is intuitive, yet intentional. Loose vision and organic evolution coalesce into visual worlds meant to be wandered and revisited. Inspired by both internal and external environments, Pryor's enduring focus is the act of arrangement—the pursuit of intriguing dynamic balance through form. Composition is conversation. Meaning emerges not through narrative, but through structure—in the tension between gesture and space, contrast and cohesion. Her work invites the viewer into that visual world: dynamic, deliberate, alive. Pryor's work has been exhibited across the Midwest and collected nationwide. Her background includes live painting events, solo shows, and a BA in studio art. She also runs a local art and design studio.
